Impact of Qur'anic Readings on Faith / Ziad Hamad Al-Amer
This research is concerned with the study of faith-related impact on Qur'anic readings. It aims to show the reciprocal relationship between faith and the readings. The research adopts an inductive analytical approach. Its most important results are the following: there is a significant impact of Qur'anic readings on faith; some Qur'anic interpreters have been influenced by certain Qur'anic readings that are consistent with their beliefs; and the presence of several Qur'anic readings in one Ayah enhances and explains the Ayah's meaning. The research makes a number of recommendations, the most important of which are the following: the Qur'anic readings and their faith-related impact should be identified; the faith-related impact of Qur'anic readings adopted by other than Ahl-Assunnah wa Aljamaa'ah should be examined; it is important to study issues of common interest to arts in general.
