Mistakes in the Lexical Index of Terms Used in the Prophetic Traditions (Hadith) / Shakir Deeb Fayadh

This article deals with an important work on the authenticization , takhrij,  of the prophetic trad- ition. namely the lexical index of terms used in the traditions of the Prophet. In spite of the importance of this work.it contains a number of mistakes which are mainly a result of its being compiled a long time ago by people of different abilities and different practical experiences. It is noticeable that all studies on this lexical index have only emphasized its positive aspects. a matter which might have a negative effect on all later works of similar subjects. Therefore. I thought it is necessary to single out negative aspects. and point out in this article the mistakes which have occurred in the lexical index.
